South LA Middle School Gymnasium

New multi-purpose gymnasium with bleachers, locker rooms, and mechanical systems. Prevailing wage certified payroll required.
North Valley High School Roofing

Full roof replacement on three buildings. DSA inspection required. Work to be performed during summer recess with limited occupied-campus access.

Prequalify to Bid
LAUSD and public school projects require subcontractors to meet specific compliance standards. Review the requirements below and submit your prequalification package.
Valid CA Contractor License
Active CSLB license in the applicable classification(s). License must be in good standing with no disciplinary actions.
DSA / Public School Experience
Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience on DSA-inspected K-12 public school construction projects in California.
Prevailing Wage Compliance
Demonstrated history of certified payroll compliance on public works projects. DIR registration required.
Insurance Requirements
General Liability ($2M per occurrence), Workers' Compensation, and Auto Liability. LAUSD and Beta Contracts Inc. must be named as additional insureds.
Bonding Capacity
Performance and payment bonds required for contracts over $25,000. Provide current bonding capacity letter from surety.
Safety Program
Written Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) and documented safety record. EMR of 1.0 or below preferred.
